I was very lucky to aquire this amazing grouping into my collection. It was purchased in an estate out of PA. The veteran served in the 104th Cavalry troop C National Guard in PA prior to WWII. Later he was assigned to the 2nd Corps cavalry. The 2nd Corps SSI has the yellow cavalry backing which really caught my attention. The gentleman was also very kind to include additional cavalry breeches and campaign hat. I'm hopeful that I can get information on this veteran with the serial number written inside the jacket. I'm waiting on the grouping to arrive this week. Feel free to comment or add any information you feel would be beneficial. Thanks and enjoy!

Odd that the 2nd Corps patch is on the right shoulder of a pre-war jacket.

Is there another patch on opposite sleeve?

I had an extensive 104th Cavalry collection which was easy to do living in PA.

Very nice find.
