stratasfan Posted November 19, 2019 Share #2 Posted November 19, 2019 His middle name was Curtice, and he was born 28 July 1921 in Dimwiddie. I saw his Jewish Serviceman's Welfare Board card, but it didn't have any info. Father was Benjamin Franklin Redman. Here are Harry's parents' Find A Grave memorials: https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/44599925 As of 1920, Benjamin and Nora had two daughters - Ruth and Helen. Benjamin was an electrician on the elctric railway in Namozine (in Dimwiddie County). In 1930, Helen is still at home and Harry is there. Benjamin is a motorman on the electric railway in Petersburg, VA. Working on the daughters . . . .

stratasfan Posted November 19, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 19, 2019 I'd say the best bet would be to try and contact a PEtersburg library and see if you can get an obit for Helen Harris to see the relatives names and try from there. Most likely it would say if her sister was alive or deceased at the time and her kid's names and where they live.

stratasfan Posted November 19, 2019 Share #9 Posted November 19, 2019 Rose Mary Harris was still alive as of 9 Mar 2018 when this findagrave memorial was created for her and her husband Robert Harris. Her date of death is blank on the stone. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/187893624/rose-mary-harris Don't think that will be her. Her maiden name was Harris, so that would mean her husband would have a different name.
