Thoughts on this pair of gp wings? I didn't see anything wrong with these so I'm looking to the masses for advice.

Unfortunately they are a restrike. The pin shouldnt open more than 70 degrees and the font of the sterling mark is too large. There should be raised bars to show where the pin should be attached and the back of the wing should have a different finish.

Reproduction, the pin should not open 180 degrees.

It's a Meyer restrike. Meaning made with original dies but made currently. Really only worth its silver content, which is not much. There are in fact still plenty of original NS Meyer wings left. But you have to be mindful of the findings, the cammed pin that does not open all the way and the trademarks. Read this forum and you will see.

 

If you want original WWII produced wings, keep looking.
