Hello,

I'm thinking of buying the two parachutes I have pictured. They are 1960s - 70s era and it excellent condition. What do  parachutes sell for ?

I recently bought an uncut, complete MC1B at auction, dated when I was in 1977. Cost with shipping was about $225. Uncut main chutes are hard to find. I recently displayed it at a Veterans Day celebration. Reserves different. eBay has the reserves for about $100+., some new in the box. A very narrow interest, but has value to us jumpers.image.jpeg

Sorry for the double post, slow internet. Also, ask if they are uncut, only way to tell is unpacking it. DOD does not let un cut chutes out, but they are out there. Average chute life is about 10 years, shelf lifes. Cut chutes ( suspension lines cut between the harness and chute) have little value to collectors.image.jpeg
