Just in from another member of the forum! Uniform of SSgt Robert Miller, Co. “A” 406th Inf., SSM recipient (GO 49 HQ 102nd Div). Also came with his shirt with matching insignia as the jacket, as well as some theater made CIBs and a train ticket that was found in the pocket. He earned his Silver Star for leading his squad across a German antitank ditch, forcing an entrance to a hidden pillbox resulting in the capture of 44 prisoners. I found it interesting how his squad leader MOS on his DD214 matches up perfectly with his combat leader stripes. Not exactly sure what make the CIBs are, however I’m leaning towards German made. Any input is much appreciated!

Very cool jacket! Could We get a shot of the other arm and that combat leader stripe. I really fascinated by it. Thanks for Sharing!
