gunnertwo Posted November 10, 2019 Share #1 Posted November 10, 2019 Since Dave was kind to us all with the update of his forthcoming book on PH awards I had to dig this out of the safe to share. Not to many posthumous PH awards to those serving in Coast Guard, here is a PH and GCM to a Chief Steward killed in the Pacific on the USS Callaway during a Kamikaze attack. Wharfmaster Posted November 11, 2019 Share #3 Posted November 11, 2019 Here is a photo of your man taken aboard Cutter Chelan in Seattle,1934. The photo is framed, faded and taken through glass. Wish the quality was better. Rest in peace sailor. Wharf
