Does anyone know what Pigeons were carried in by the AEF?

I have seen many images of ww1 messenger Pigeon staff, but none of AEF.

Many thanks!

Can you clarify your question? I ask as someone who has been researching U.S. Army Signal Corps Pigeon Service activities, particularly with the AEF. I probably know more than most on the subject and am happy to help.

Hey!

Thanks for the pictures.

Pathfinder, to clarify, Im really looking to see if there are any other photographs of what the pigeons were carried in. I have seen artist imressions of AEF using french panniers but no proof.

My primary reason is to work on a Pigeon carrier impression. If you know of any good resources for research it would be great if you could point me in whatever direction!
