Is this anything special? What year/time frame. No date from what I could see and I assume this is post VN. The canteen itself is dated 1964 which means nothing.

Standard LC-2 canteen cover. The earliest example I have marked LC-2 is 1976.

One thing of interest is the fact that it was produced by the Defense Personnel Support Center, which was basically the new name for the quartermaster depot. They had a different way of marking their products, hence the lack of a DLA contract number.
