Picked this up in a lot from one veteran... Italian made? 131 ??? Anybody have any ideas? AAF? Ordnance unit? Italian unit?Posted Image

131st Ordnance Bomb Disposal Squadron? If I use my imagination I can make out 131 BD Squad

I see one that was active later not totally sure. Most of the insignia like this Italian Made is usually AAC just a guess though

Im really leaning toward the Ordnance bomb disposal, I know the unit existed and was in Europe... gotta jump on Asmic website and do some digging

plus one for the Bomb disposal. Same bomb shaped as the bomb disposal patch in the group

Possibly 131st Bomb Disposal Squad.  Just that and not short for squadron.  

 

"Bomb Disposal Squad" was an official unit title for a while, hence the term "bomb squad"

I think it might actually be the 134th Ord Bomb Disp Squad?
They have camping credits for Northern France & Rhineland
