Sorry that I find myself pressed for time right now and can't start this post in a more proper way. Ran across this auction on the bay this morning and wanted to leave the number here for others to take a look at.

item # 264506615479

Here's a case where a few bidders would have been well served to have taken a quick look at Frank Trzaska's reproduction recognition page at his web site.

Yup! It's a Camillus repro. Someone added a second pin to the pommel for starts(to make it look original), but original pins are different. Second, the Camillus blade stamp is the same size as the US M3, on originals it's smaller. The finish looks like it was darkened, repros are gray, originals are a nice blue-black finish. Not even gonna get into the "Ms". The seller also has a UTICA M3 that looks like the blade was welded, and the leather handle looks replaced, and buffed. The pommel looks like the rounded pommels on Imperial M3s. Study up gang! Don't get ripped off! Note: The seller may not know that he is selling questionable blades. SKIP

Again I apologize for the short OP. As usual Skip summed it up pretty completely.

Here's a few photo's from the auction for future reference.
