aznation Posted October 26, 2019 Share #26 Posted October 26, 2019 Crew Lists and Muster Rolls The Naval History and Heritage Command does not have custody of crew lists, nor do we have current contact information of former crew members. You can locate this information through various sources: Government Sources: The Old Military and Civil Records Branch, National Archives, 700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20408, holds copies of deck logs from 1801 through 1940, as well as muster rolls through 1938 in bound books. aznation Posted October 26, 2019 Share #27 Posted October 26, 2019 Source: http://taylorempireairways.com/2010/02/the-f-h-jewell-collection/ Archivist John Cornelius has done us all a service by preserving a remarkable window into a bygone past—this collection of photographs taken in China between 1921 and 1927 by one Frederick Harris Jewell, marketer for the British-American Tobacco Company. aznation Posted October 27, 2019 Share #29 Posted October 27, 2019 You're most welcome Jay. Frederick was quite the world traveler it appears and also a pretty good photographer. Nice that you have his WWI Navy tag. Congrats!
