Baron3-6 Posted October 19, 2019 Share #2 Posted October 19, 2019 The pot itself is a mid-WWII front seam, swivel bail with what looks like original finish. Liner looks like Korean War Production. The WO rank is the type that came into use in the 50's...rectangular vs. the pill shape of the WWII WO ranks.
Baron3-6 Posted October 19, 2019 Share #3 Posted October 19, 2019 I found one vague reference to the 549th Administration Company being at Ft Polk, LA in 1961...which would fit for this helmet as assembled. The Admin Co is likely an Adjutant General unit made for processing pay issues, and other paperwork. A Warrant would make sense being there.
