ocsfollowme Posted October 18, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted October 18, 2019 Custom jacket was purchased in 1944 in the US. Patches sewn to jacket and not on snaps.

JDK Posted October 22, 2019 Share #9 Posted October 22, 2019 Beautiful dual wing uniform. Many pilots were awarded Chinese wings during WW2. There doesn't have to be any AVG connection. Look like a great pair of standard bullion WW2 Chiese wings. I have a dual wing uniform from a 16th Fighter Squadron pilot that flew in 1944. They are pretty tough to find and your uniform is a beauty. I also have a letter in my collection authorizing a WW2 CBI fighter pilot to wear Chinese wings on his uniform. Thanks for sharing your great uniform. JD
