I think it’s great. I like the 3 piece applied wreath and especially the engraving. Finally it is bench marked. I can never remember which is which NCO or officer but I think you have an NCO plate. (I think). Anyhow looks good to me. There are more knowledgeable collectors here who can firm it up one way or another.

Totally Righteous m1851 nco plate. The non-period inscription detracts, unless it has some great significance, like Vietnam war significance.

Hmm, there was a sfc Jack Marion Jones, killed in March of 1968 with the 5th Cav in Vietnam.
