hirsca Posted October 11, 2019 Share #1 Posted October 11, 2019 Interesting arm badge for the 10 year International Patrol in post war Vienna. It is curved and hard to photo, so I took pictures in segments to show the text in the three different languages--English, French and Russian. Enjoy, Al
Red Devil Posted October 11, 2019 Share #2 Posted October 11, 2019 Way cool! I really like these Occupation-era items. Can you please show a picture of the reverse?
hirsca Posted October 11, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted October 11, 2019 Way cool! I really like these Occupation-era items. Can you please show a picture of the reverse? As requested. Looks like whatever was on the reverse for attaching to an arm band is missing. I forgot to add the measurements in the first post. It measures 3.25" high and 2.875" wide. Thanks, Al
irish Posted October 11, 2019 Share #4 Posted October 11, 2019 Indeed a nice piece. Vienna was a hotspot during the post war for tensions with the Russians. As well spies and espionage.
