thorin6 Posted October 6, 2019 Share #2 Posted October 6, 2019 Probably just a result of storage and aging. General Shaver did not (as best we know) make any two-toned magazines. Also, the two-toned magazines resulted from dipping the top portion in a solution meant to harden the lips. This was done after the magazine was blued, and it removed the blueing on the top portion of the magazine, leaving it in the white. Your photos appear to show just the opposite.
