Hello,

I think this is some sort of Chemical crest, however I could not find it in the ASMIC catalog. Does anyone know what it is? It has a pinback fastner and is hallmared Myer.

For some reason, I think this is an ROTC unit. The lamp of knowledge makes it a school DUI.

I happened to see this DI before.  According to ASMIC Charge book it should be Purdue University

ROTC.  "On a black shield with a red border a gold griffin holding a gold lamp of knowledge".

Hope this helps.

Hi Pat,

Thank you. After I got it home I noticed the lamp. ROTC got me again.

Thanks again,

Chris

I had one too that I picked up with a mixed lot of DUI's a couple of years ago. The card it was pinned to said, Stanford ROTC. I never got it confirmed as to the actual ID. It had no makers mark on the back.

It is indeed Purdue University ROTC as Pat already indicated. I used an excellent new book as reference.
