Nice looking helmet. Looks like the owner of this helmet went to the reserves after an active duty stint. It has the reserve squadron VFA-203 Blue Dolphin on the back.

Great addition to an already incredible collection.

A really nice helmet that shows useage in two squadrons!!

These reserve squadrons don't get the attention or respect they deserve. The reserve squadrons were filled with seasoned aviators and were actually very good squadrons. Typically they would train with the Fleet squadrons and it was not unusual for the reserve squadrons to kick rump in the dog fighting arena of tactical aviation.
