Home movie: Marines invade Coronado CA as children watch

Picked up a box of vintage Kodachrome 8mm home movies recently and found this one of a USMC landing at the Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado. I transferred the film to video and edited it. Check out the Marine recon guys dropping from the chopper.

Hey Bob it worked fine, but other members still pictures aren't showing up, not all of them but alot of them. I cant understand it. Oh well maybe it will clear up by itself.

Nice. I just digitized my father’s movies from the same era showing Seabees in USMC gear and helmets in training from the same era. Looks like an Essex class carrier in the background there.
