I've studied, and studied the EGA forum, and still am horrible at pinning down a date on EGA's. Current examples I'm pretty good with.

In any case, I picked this small group up at a local junk shop. Single Meyer EGA and a set of H&H Captain rank insignia. Set me back a single Hamilton.

Is this a standard M37 Officer collar insignia, or is it an earlier example? Based on the Meyer hallmark, which is raised, I believe it is 50's era?

Thanks in advance!

Looks to be WW2 up through the KW era. This pattern EGA had a long service life. Nice example.
