WWIIBuff1945 Posted September 20, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 20, 2019 I just received these in the mail from a military dealer who claims they are WWII. Black painted hardware and a non-dimpled end makes me think they are are post war or Danish. The flat keeper may be WWII but the rest I'm not sure. At $20 each I don't think they are legit because originals I have seen lately have been around $50. I appreciate the help identifying them. Rhscott Posted September 28, 2019 Share #3 Posted September 28, 2019 Looks like a common 1950s era GI sling with a WW2 clamp on it.
WWIIBuff1945 Posted September 28, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted September 28, 2019 Thank you that's what I thought. The seller took it back for a refund but I think he is going to screw me out of the shipping costs. So it may cost me $16 for his misrepresenting the sling.
