917601 Posted September 20, 2019 Share #4 Posted September 20, 2019 A quality A+ piece for sure. Strange, another one with different makings was just posted on the BOCN website, from the same collection? I do know a very big Ordnance collection with many grenades was just recently auctioned off, all pieces brought top dollar, unable to post the picture. 917601 Posted September 22, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 22, 2019 R, Do you have the web site for the auction you reference? It was much talked about on the BOCN website a few months ago. The poster mentioned problems in choosing the " right" auction house as they were all top quality pieces of Ordnance but mostly grenades, and he wanted to get top dollar to compensate for commissions, fees. 917601 Posted September 23, 2019 Share #7 Posted September 23, 2019 Morphy's, June / July auction, over 100 grenades went, so the final thread stated.

rldarmstr Posted September 26, 2019 Share #9 Posted September 26, 2019 The fuse is original but the top cover isn't. There were two types of fuses for the MKI swivel spoon. One with side lugs and one without.
