GeneralCheese Posted September 18, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 18, 2019 I found this satchel today at a thrift store, and I can't figure out what it's for or when it's from. The strap is nonadjustable. The only marking is the '13' on the front. Any help would be appreciated.

GeneralCheese Posted September 18, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted September 18, 2019 I just noticed that it used to be separated into two pockets down the middle, but someone removed the stitching to make it one large pocket.

Justin Posted September 18, 2019 Share #8 Posted September 18, 2019 This is a nice period bag. Good used look. Period bags are getting harder to find. Not just used to carry claymore and lots of guys in SVN found uses for these handy bags.
MattS Posted September 18, 2019 Share #9 Posted September 18, 2019 Agreed, would have originally had an instruction sheet sewn to the inside of the flap.
Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted September 18, 2019 Share #10 Posted September 18, 2019 M7 bandoleer for the M18A1 mine. This is a really nice once, with the removed center seam and the used look I'd bet this one was repurposed they they often were to carry all sorts of things. Nice find, would not hesitate to add it to my collection.
