Hello All,

I found a guy who can make Dog Tags. He has WW2 original and repro blanks. I had some made for my displays for my Uncle Joe and my friend Phil, Both WW2 USAAF. They turned out great. Now I want to make one for my Aunt Annie. She was a WAC in the CBI attached AAF in India.

Now for my Question.

Where the WAC's Dog Tags the same as the Men's? And by the same I mean the typed info arrangement. If anybody has one I would appreciate taking a look at it.

Her is my Aunt Annie.

Even tho the person you want to show an original is most likely honest all we need is someone else with some period base component knowing what "the real period" item looks like. Richard

I'm not trying to make one to deceive. That is why I showed a pic of my Aunt Annie. But I guess I do know what you are getting at. Semper Fi. Phil

If you thought I was finding fault with you I'm very sorry as not intended. What I meant is so many things that started out for re'ennactors (like Confederate items in 1960s and USMC Cammo helmet covers 2000's) now sold as originals for big money. So just frustrated by it. Richard

I understand Richard, Thank you for the claification and I do understand what you are concerned about. Fakes abound and the fakers are getting better at their skills.

I've been burned and learned.

I was not thinking about that when this local gent made mine, I just did it to display with family and friends uniforms. I went with the repro blanks for mine. But the originals were an option . I don't collect these like some folks, That never crossed my mind until you pointed it out and now I am.

Thanks again.
