Bodes Posted August 30, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 30, 2019 Forum members, WW2 veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor Jim Leavelle passed away at the age of 99...He was serving on board the USS Whitney on December 7, 1941...Jim being best remembered for escorting while handcuffed to Lee Harvey Oswald when he was shot by Jack Ruby...Rest in Peace Jim....Bodes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
