guys, with all the repro junk out there the mine field is ready to ignite! and foreign made wings are a real mine field. I saw these and matched them up to Bobs site. they do look very close to the wing on his site but, doubts are still there. opinion on these--- good or bad?? thank you.

Mitch,

I hate to say it, but the photos don't do a whole lot to help us to determine anything about the wing. Here are a few suggestions-

1) Place the wing on a piece of white cloth or paper rather than the granite countertop.

2) Get the camer down to the level where the wing nearly fills the sight window.

3) Take photos with and without the flash.

4) Take the photos from two or three angles- head on- slightly above looking down the length of the badge, nd slightly below looking up the length of the badge.

5) Repet steps one through four with the back side of the wing.

Try to post jpg format photos that are about 500 x 375 pixels.

Here are a couple of bigger images, though the background is rather distracting. To me, the wing does appear to be die struck. I wish I had a better look at the maker mark and the feather detail though. My gut says these are original.
