officiers chocolate shirt with M41 jacket

i would like to know if it is possible for a US officier to wear a chocolate shirt with a M41 jacket ? i am preparing a uniform for a reenactment and i wonder if it's possible to wear that thanks for yor help

Yes, it is very easy to do! First, put on the shirt. Then, put on the jacket and you will see that it is very possible!

 

Now for the serious answer, yes, you will find photos of officers wearing the dark shirt and then wearing the M41 field jacket over the shirt. While most field operations would see officers wearing OD wool trousers and shirts, you should remember that the 41 field jacket was just that, a light weight jacket, and would be worn when the temperatures required a jacket to be worn.
