Tom Kibler Posted August 27, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 27, 2019 Named to A D K I N S, he was a later war replacement that wore this as a coming home jacket. He was attached to the 505, discharged through the 508th. The reinforcements are nice. Original, period sewn patch... Shame the belt is gone, but that often occurred. Had trouble reducing the size of the photos to fit - so there are more, but I'm limited on this forum in displaying them. Thanks!

Tom Kibler Posted August 28, 2019 Author Share #11 Posted August 28, 2019 Thanks all! He was discharged under "Less-than-Honorable" conditions, and I have correspondence from him, requesting his discharged be amended. He states he did (whatever it was), foolishly. Most of his file was destroyed in the fire. I'd love to find a photo of him. As for now, I have his discharge and various other documentation.
