I have used both in the past, and was wondering what is the best way to stop rust and preserve the bayonet? Both have seemed to work. Need to clean up a couple that got rusty on me before I got them oiled but haven't done it yet. Fairly certain they did not have so much when I got them and that I can fix it so as just to remove the rust. Ren wax has good reviews but haven't tried it. Probably worth a shot. I usually use the rem wax on dress bayonets, swords, etc. I have used gun oil (rem oil) on the parkerized items... Just was wondering what people are doing, and what seems to work best..
