Spike Posted August 23, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 23, 2019 Anyone who has studied and researched UDTs and SEALs during the VN war will know the name Vince Olivera. He was one of the most iconic, feared and respected instructors during the VN years. I was on the way down to do a display at the UDT/SEAL reunion and was contacted by Vince's son saying he would let go of his Dad's UDT 12 shirt. Of course I jumped on the offer. He has another one that has an Instructor patch on the sleeve that I REALLY would like to snag one day. This is one of my favorite pieces in my collection. Spy vs Spy Posted August 25, 2019 Share #4 Posted August 25, 2019 Cool shirt Spike, it couldn’t have ended up in a better home. How did the reunion go? Any pictures from your display? Best Martin
Spike Posted August 25, 2019 Author Share #5 Posted August 25, 2019 Hey Martin, the reunion went well. Made new contacts and got 2 photo albums of a guy with SEAL Team One. I took pics of my display right after I set it up Sat morning.
