thecandyman0838 Posted August 18, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 18, 2019 These are two World War Two era pieces of field gear I have picked up that have similar markings on them. One is a shovel cover that I can’t say for sure is usmc and the other is a usmc officers bag ID’ed to a officer in 2nd battalion, 6th marines, 2nd division who was wounded during the invasion of Saipan. Both pieces have 2 blue rectangles on the back. Does anyone know the significance of it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cap Camouflage Pattern I Posted August 20, 2019 Share #8 Posted August 20, 2019 I've seen them on a lot of gear and I think everyone is still scratching their heads on them. Very nice gear, like the camo and being IDd is sweet
