Burning Hazard Posted August 16, 2019 Share #11 Posted August 16, 2019 Nice photo, I believe it's another angle of Lieutenants Richards, Lippitt, and Markley of K company taken in 1953. http://www.ophsa.org/Martin_Markley/K_Company/index.htm

patches Posted August 16, 2019 Share #13 Posted August 16, 2019 With out a doubt, Korea, circa 1953, 15th Infantry 3rd Infantry Division. A give away is the wearing of the White NAME tape on the left side over the pocket and the rough an tumble base camp like background.
Ronnie Posted August 16, 2019 Author Share #14 Posted August 16, 2019 Well there ya go. We tied the location down. Thanks to all who helped. Ronnie

juodonnell2012 Posted August 16, 2019 Share #18 Posted August 16, 2019 From speaking with a few Korean war vets. I was told some had tailor made covers fabricated from old utility uniforms.

milsurp_scout_14 Posted August 19, 2019 Share #21 Posted August 19, 2019 Looking at the 2nd photo in post #11, that cover appears to have more than the usual one seam going down the middle--you can see two seams on either side of center. Perhaps that one may have been fabricated from an old uniform. The green covers I have all just have one seam down the middle.
