1902 / 1906 OFFICERS' BLUE TOP DRESS VISOR ?

sorry these pix made elsewhere, but the cap was made by penn garment co. williamsport, pa.  I know too bad it's crushed, otherwise is is correct for a "dress" dress uni? I thought these were to have had a dark blue top, for for example.   many thanks all.

What kind of buttons are on it? The color isn't correct for a dress blue army cap, should be dark blue.

And no, not correct for an officer's dress blue cap from the 1890s-1910s. Earlier caps were a pillbox style, 1902 cap became bellcrown style, 1912 top of cap became wider, similar to today's caps. 

Cap eagle looks 1920s or 30s. 1900s to 1910s cap device would have been embroidered bullion.

Doesnt look like a military hat to me, the badge looks like the 30s-40s period ones

The hat does not appear to be military and the hat badge is 30s period
