I was drawn here through the internet by a mess kit and canteen that was posted about my grandfather Chief Machinist Mate Paul Golly, who was a POW in WW2. Ever since I saw this canteen I have been curious on what he had endured during his time in the service. This site has enlightened me and I am very glad that I am part of this community.
