His ribbons appear to be WW2 Victory, American Campaign, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign (one star), and Philippine Liberation. Note that something is odd with one of his eyes - wonder if if it was a wartime injury or just the way things happen when you are trying to get a photo for mom and dad.
