Hello all,

For context, I own the wartime diary of this GI, Frank Gugliuzza. However, I do not know what unit patch he has. I know he was an engineer, attending the Corps of Engineer school at Fort Belvoir in 1942. Any help would be appreciated.

Salvage Sailor

Do you have any other particulars? Where he was from? Middle Initial? Service Number? etc

Salvage Sailor

This photo was taken in a later period (post 1942) as he has 6 overseas bars (i.e. 3 years overseas) and one service stripe (one enlistment)

The patch appears to be for the CBI (China Burma India) theater

That's my guess as well.
