Large auction house must have had a huge airborne collectors items auctioned....a WW2 reserve went for $300, a few other WW2 chutes for pilots, bombers, etc...I had to get this 1975 dated MC1-B as I jumped with them in the seventies. It was advertised as complete , uncut, with harness. I do a lot of shows, airshows, etc...wondering how to display it deployed in one of my upcoming hangar shows? A dummy trooper is no problem, but wondering if anyone here has ever displayed one with the 35' diameter canopy deployed with a dummy. I was thinking of 3/4- 1" PVC 40 ft lengths , about 10 each, placed inside, hoisted up by the hangar hoist from the parachute Apex....hoping the PVC piping would " sag" and give the canopy the filled, deployed shape. Any simple ideas? Must be cost effective as I do only two hangar events a year.image.jpeg image.jpeg
