DoubleEnvelopment Posted July 19, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2019 Here are three pages of a diary I recently acquired. I believe the author was an Air Ground Liason Officer. It's not really graphic but covers such a wide array of Tarawa topics I think it is excellent. He discusses amtracs, the pier, marines wading ashore and notable officer's like Mike Ryan and Col. Shoup. I have not transcribed it as I think the best way to read a diary us straight from the source.

DoubleEnvelopment Posted July 19, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted July 19, 2019 Sorry for the delay everyone. I had the pictures all resized but then I went to upload them and it was saying they were still too large? This was supposed to go in the ephemera section, if a mod. could relocate it I would be most appreciative.
