aznation Posted July 18, 2019 Share #3 Posted July 18, 2019 For threads on this forum about Frank Barteaux knives, from the main page search for Barteaux. Someone more knowledgeable can comment whether it's from WWII. That looks like the same picture that someone has on Ebay showing it to be a Genuine Barteaux WW II Commando Hand Made Fighting Knife with Sheath with a Buy-it-Now of $350. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Genuine-Barteaux-WW-II-Commando-Handmade-Fighting-Knife-With-Sheath/233287902463?hash=item36510ae4ff:g:lngAAOSwOSddK~Je
Tltt Posted July 18, 2019 Share #4 Posted July 18, 2019 Those are post WWII, usually from the 60's - 70's made to compete with the Gerber line.
groserm Posted July 19, 2019 Share #5 Posted July 19, 2019 It doesn't look like a Barteaux to me. Looks more like a newer copy of smaller Murphy Combat Jr and Barteaux. Not an exact copy just similar characteristics. Rick
