Trying to add a few AB items to the collection for my ETO display. Im not versed in these as Im primarily focused on USMC. My question is, are these period pieces? The 11th set has a different zipper and the snaps seem different. Also the 11th set has quartermaster(?) Stamps in the back yoke of the jacket while the m42 jacket and trousers are void of any stamps or marks. On the helmet, im assuming its a sum of the parts kind of deal but Its been offered to me for 800, but that seems a bit steep? Then again I dont know AB values like USMC material. Any thoughts from you AB collectors are appreciated. First set of pics is the m42 set, followed by the 11th m42 and finally the AB helmet. Thanks in advance. 15143cb320e5f152242a48633299a9ea.jpgfc2de184b24ef24966bb02d6a7eed789.jpg9bb4d56b2157f9931d204f6b6518074c.jpg4a8894e5ebecc03c820626f86abcb272.jpg4204f59b4fc5f78c3bbbb5614df7c1bf.jpg925d6cc2821c59ab568af91dda31a63e.jpg5d694e55802645a2be3b9a6b4e09345c.jpgc786c2764ebbd31c59c874c977c1b390.jpg Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

Your liner should have a Westinghouse stamp. The chin cup issued with the liner is what I have shown and your chin strap should be a green buckle.

Green buckle. Your jacket looks proper to me, but let the real experts chime in.

Thanks P59 for the info. So the leather chin cup is not correct for this liner, it should be the webbed version. Anyone else have an opinion on the uniforms? Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Tapatalk

The first aid packet is without a doubt not original. Material, stitching, tapes, stamping are all off.

Your jump jacket and trousers are early WWII, having been made soon after the new paratrooper uniform was standardized (we collectors call this the M1942 suit).

Your helmet liner appears to be an original Westinghouse para liner, but the helmet straps and the 1st Aid kit are fakes. The leather chin cup is a cut down Navy talker's helmet chinstrap. The helmet is WAY over-priced at $800.

Do the rivets on the A washers in the liner look off to anyone else? Maybe it's just me or the picture but the ones that I can see look huge compared to the standard rivets.
