I was examining my grenades and noticed one had a name scratched into the spoon. ( I believe I bought this one from a forum member a few years back). The M10A3 black tip spoon is marked standard, " 37 PMC-1", and scratched into it and barely visible is a name and date. " Oct 7 1944 LT BLASS LFX". Can anyone tell me the meaning of LFX? Even better, would anyone be able to connect Lt Blass with an identity? I may have it wrong as it was scratched out but under sunlight and a magnifying glass that is what it looks like. post-180924-0-85892300-1562703910_thumb.jpeg Thanks for your time.
