Fritz Posted July 3, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 3, 2019 Guys, a little out of my wheelhouse per sei, I know enough to be dangerous LOL, picked this up last weekend, relic condition, need some help with the serial number, I have volume 2 of Springfield research and the closest one is 193 pistols earlier and they all went to the Kentucky cavalry, anyone have the other volumes to run the number? This one is 105161. Thanks Fritz

thorin6 Posted July 4, 2019 Share #5 Posted July 4, 2019 Congrats, these make great conversation pieces. I picked up a Starr Double Action Only pistol at a flea market several months ago, no internals but the hammer goes back and all the pieces move. Fun researching the pistol, so go ahead and see if you can figure out where this one has been.
albatrosdva Posted September 7, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 7, 2019 some easy fixes for you. Those two pins from the bottom of the barrel can be threaded and screw a couple new pins in to hold it in place. A wedge is easy to make. If you don't do that sort or work you can send it to me. All i'll charge you is shipping back and forth
