Persian Gulf Command

I believe I have obtained an example of each variation of the Mk2 (II) and Mk2A1 Fragmentation Grenade that was use during WW2. Although there were some pre-war body colors that probably were used up early on these are the typical body type and body colors seen. Please feel free to comment and correct my assumptions of correct types if necessary.

Persian Gulf Command

John,

The dimensions of the fuse on grenade #6 is the same as the others. The apparent shorter look is a peripheral distortion of the photograph.

Regards,

John

I am a little late in viewing, excellent grouping. For grenade collector interest would you be able to post the body manufacturers marks? Variations are always nice to see. I have an "AF", "A", "BB" and a "U". I am curious to know how your pre-43 ones are marked. Thank you.
