27Division18 Posted July 1, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 1, 2019 Can anyone enlighten me on this ammo box? It does state that it is an ammo box on the front, but I am not sure for what weapon and what conflict.

phantomfixer Posted July 1, 2019 Share #5 Posted July 1, 2019 similar in design, but not identical ...your box has a feed system on the rear, as marked...in this pic...it looks like the feed system is facing the rear of the helicopter
Story Posted July 2, 2019 Share #6 Posted July 2, 2019 Similiar http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/274594-50-cal-ammo-box-micarta-and-aluminum/ Can anyone enlighten me on this ammo box? It does state that it is an ammo box on the front, but I am not sure for what weapon and what conflict. Can you show us that labeling? Also, how wide is the box? 27Division18 Posted July 3, 2019 Author Share #7 Posted July 3, 2019 Mine looks very much like the Center-50 one depicted in this link: www.bmgparts.com/aircraft.html. The markings appear similar but the roller is a bit different. So looks like an aircraft .50 ammo box. Does anyone know the period and the aircraft?
