mdk0911 Posted June 30, 2019 Share #3 Posted June 30, 2019 I'm on the fence but i think Repo - the arrows and hook just don't look correct - the arrows look too pointy

ludwigh1980 Posted July 1, 2019 Share #7 Posted July 1, 2019 aged Replica. Tongue has wrong shape and the edges are too sharp on both it and the arrows. Originals I have seen almost have beveled edges.
acw Posted July 3, 2019 Share #8 Posted July 3, 2019 I've been collecting Civil War for 45 years. The only time I'm aware that I got stiffed was when I rushed to buy a U.S. "bullet struck" buckle. The buckle is almost a duplicate of the one you posted. Unlike CS buckles you can buy a "no doubt about it" U.S. buckle for a little more. I would suggest you purchase one from a reputable dealer rather than risk having doubts about this one. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. I remember the bullet struck buckles around 15 years ago or so. I almost fell for it, and even clicked on the "buy it now" bid on Ebay, and withdrew it when I found out they were fake. Steve
