m1ashooter Posted June 28, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 28, 2019 The Nation Museum of the Pacific War is located in Fredricksburg Texas. Fredricksburg is the birthplace of Admiral Nimitz and home of the museum. The museum if well thought out with many displays. One eye catching display is a huge map of the Pacific and the areas with troop strengths of the Japanese that were by passed by the island hopping strategy . We bypassed at least 2.5 million Japanese troops with that strategy. If you are visiting San Antonio its well worth the trip over. The wives can shop and you can visit the muesum. The town itself is lovely.
