love4history Posted June 23, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 23, 2019 Hello gents Newbee question if you'll allow me. I gather that OD-border patches are early to mid-WWII and greenbacks are "general" WWII era. Is that correct? So OD-border greenbacks (combined) would be the creme de la creme as far as WWII-patches are concerned? Very tempted to start collecting them so thanks for informing me! cheers from Belgium
vostoktrading Posted June 23, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 23, 2019 Yes, kind of... You can't go too wrong collecting with those two guidelines but also don't pay too much for patches based on those guidelines. There are a lot of variables.Do research. Find out. Be patient. I'm sure this topic has been covered in finite detail in a previous thread, I just couldn't find it. I'm sure someone on this site will find it and paste a link shortly. Good luck and welcome to patch collecting! It's fun and very rewarding. Jon.
