1srelluc Posted June 22, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 22, 2019 I found this Property of US Gov't marked leather sheath today at a flea market. I've seen one before but can't place it. I gave $1.00 for it. It looks like it fits a knife with 6-7" blade, 13" OAL. The handle retaining strap has a United Carr marked male snap and the strap is held on by a brass rivet painted black on the back side. No other markings....Looks unissued. I tried a KA-BAR in it and while it fits it's very tight and the pommel extends about a half inch above the leather. I was thinking along the lines of maybe a PAL RH-36 knife.
