Iraq Medal of Honor Award Forthcoming

David Bellavia, A native of my home town of Buffalo. I dont know him but nonetheless a swell of pride when I saw the story and felt compelled to share it. A quick paragraph from the local newspaper article, Veterans advocate, author, former congressional candidate and current talk radio co-host, Bellavia will become the 3,469th American awarded the nations highest military decoration and the first living recipient from the War in Iraq.

 

Ive included a link to the local article but you can search it and find numerous stories. Ive heard him on the radio when he was part of the radio show and be honest peers to be humble about his actions while he will talk about his experiences to some extent he does not brag and doesnt talk about the level of heroics.
