rustywings Posted June 14, 2019 Share #4 Posted June 14, 2019 Cal Aero Flight Academy closed its doors on July 1, 1944... the Chino Airfield then converted to a storage field for surplus aircraft no longer needed in the war effort. I believe that civilian lapel pin might have been available before our entry into the war, when the Flight School was still located at Glendale Grand Terminal? Nice collectible...
